Culiacán batlled throug 10 inning to resumed the game to their side, 6 – 5 after Venado tied up the score at 5 in the bottom of the sixth inning, however Tomateros pitching stopped them from scoring the winning run.
Starter , Jesus Guzaman pitched 5.2 inning , allowing 7 hits and 3 runs as 4 more pitchers went the rest , allowing 6 scattered hits to Venados but kept them away from scoring.

Ray Martinez whose 3 run homer put Culiacan ahead and Randall Simon with a 3 hits game provided all the support.

For Venados, starter Pablo Ochoa , went 4-1 inning 4 runs, as for the offensive the Gonzalez`s brother combo of Adrian and Edgar collected 3 hits apiece being instrumental in all Venados rallies.Adrian is coming back to the leagues top 10, raising his BA up to .320.


There is no doubt , if Mayos needs to win they must play Yaquis , last night shutting them out 5 -0 ended their losing streak and Yaquis kept on struggling with their pitching staff and in need of having Ariel Prieto and Michael Tejera to be in shape to help them up.
Winner Hansel Izquierdo went all the way and tossed a beautiful one hitter off the bat of Alfredo Amezaga to get his second win of the season. Actually the best pitching performance in this season.
Jonathan Aceves bases loaded doubeled home 3 runs and Norris Hopper collected 4 hits to lead Mayos offensive.

In Hermosillo , Edgar Gonzalez won 4 -1 to Mexicali getting support from Hector Hurtado who drove all 4 runs ins for Naranjeros , homered with 2 on off loser Alex Armenta and Hermosillo continued their winning pace into the play offs.
Howie Clark who is swinginga good bat , homered for Mexicali , his 8th of the year off Arizonaà reliever Oscar Villarreal.
