•Hermosillo activated ANDY SHIBILO who pitched for Tijuana Colts in the summer, replacing JIM MANN

•GERONIMO GIL arrived to Obregon and get started to train in order to make his debut ASAP.

•LUIS ALFONSO GARCIA in chase of the batting triple crown has been named player of the week after a torrid performance which make him be on top of all with .383-8-21 in numbers.

•OSCAR VILLARREAL trying a comeback attempt with Arizona is training in Hermosillo ,while management look who to replace with him.

•Nate Bland, Bryan Corey and Chad Zerbe were announced by Culiacan as the new pitchers coming to strenghten their staff in order to improve the standing position.
Corey, pitched 2 years ago with Mazatlan as Balnd performed very well during the past summer with Tijuana, and as for Zerbe, this will his first experience in winter Mexican baseball, and have some big leagues background.
Randall Simon is in town already and will begin to play soon, while Jorge Vazquez
is expected to come back by this coming week end.

•Guasave´s best pitcher Spike Lundberg is not only helping his team with outstanding performance, but also in finding more good pitchers to come and help the team, as they announced the signing up of Spike´s teammate Chris Baker, who has a record of 8-7 with Syracuse last summer.
