Cañeros hitting 3 home runs ,one a Grand Slam by Rontrez Johnson beat Venados 13 - 6 with winner HEAT PHILIPS again showing what he got, off loser RAY LOYA, despite of the fact that Venados hit 4 home runs by ADRIAN GONZALEZ, ROBERTO SAUCEDO , CHRIS DUNCAN and DON ANDERSON.
For Cañeros, CALVIN PICKERING continues swinging a good bat and got his 5th of the year among others.

In Mexicali the Eagles started to pay their dues against Cottoneers, losing 9 - 3 in the first game of series, in retaliation for what they did at Guasave last week end.
Cottoneers supported in clutch hitting , and taking advantage of a dirty fielding by Eagles , and crowned by a 5 runs rally in the 7th , in which MARIO VALENZUELA´S 3 run homer were all they need to beat Eagles.
Winner RUDY GONZALEZ finally picked up his first win of the season, off loser NOE ROMO in relief to starting pitchers.
So, both Gonzalez´s brothers won today as bro Vinny won as well with Navojoa .

The archrivals Yaquis Mayos series started and having Mayos knocking first , supported in another outstanding performance by LUIS "COCHITO JR." CRUZ who hit two home runs and drove 5 Mayos´s t runs to beathem up 7 -1.
Cruz an authentic Yaquiss killer, now has 6 homers in the season, but 5 of those aganst Obregon pitching staff .
VINNY GONZALEz the winner and ADAM BASS the loser for Yaquis form whom CARLOS VALENCIA hit his 3rd round tripper of the year.
Orioles catcher, GERONIMO GIL made his debut with Yaquis going 3-0 in the game.
