MONTERREY--MEXICO CITY

Red Devils in retaliation to previous game,who lost with 11 runs scored by Monterrey, now defeated Sultans 11-0,with winning pitcher CLAUDIO MORENO (2-0), going 8 innings and closer FRANCISCO CORDOVA closed door in the 9th.
Former Mets farmhand PABLO OCHOA, (1-1) lost for Monterrey and allowed a monster HR by DH ROBERTO SAUCEDO(2) his citymate and teammate from Mexican Junior teams .

CAMPECHE--PUEBLA

Dominican hurler, RAVELO MANZANILLO got his first win of this season tossing a solid pitching to beat Campeche 6-4.
Manzanillo allowed 4 hits and 3 runs in a 6 inning work, good enough to obtain this victory.
For Campeche, former major leaguer NARCISO ELVIRA, lost in a 6 inning work, allowing 6 runs, two of them homers by dominican MANNY MARTINEZ.

TABASCO--VERACRUZ

Cuban piotcher OSAVALDO FERNADEZ and the Olmecas stopped Willis Otaņez red hot hitting and led his team to a 4-3 win, going 7 innings and left the game after OMAR RAMIREZ (4) hit a home run, to put the game 4-3.
SANTOS HERNANDEZ picked up the save, and RAFAEL PIŅA took the lost for Campeche.

SALTILLO--SAN LUIS POTOSI

Puerto Rican PEDRO VALDEZīS grand slam led the Sarape Maker team to a win over San Luis 10-4, counting on a pitching by winner MIGUEL ANGEL GONZALEZ (1-0),while ULISES OSUNA the loser for San Luis (0-1).

YUCATAN--OAXACA

Lions, withwinner ALFREDO ACEVES (1-0) on the mound for 7 innings, and a 14 hits offensive displayed by his team, were all he needed to beat the Warriors 6-2.
Venezuelan JUAN CARLOS PULIDO (0-1), the loser for Oaxaca, who allowed 3 of the 6 Yucatanian runs in 4 innings worked.

ANGELOPOLIS--CANCUN

Lobstermen defeated Tiger 6-4 and took the series home with winner GUILLERMO LARREAL (1-0) in relief to IGANCIO MONTAŅO, and for Tigers loser GUILLERMO CARRILLO (0-1) also in relief work.
For Cancun, LIPSO NAVA (1) and RAUL SANCHEZ (2) hit homers.
Itīs important to note that, Tigers are palying with mexican players only, and using a pitching system called "Sistema Peralta" named after Mr. A lejo Peralta the founder of this team 50 years ago and now run by his son Carlos Peralta, who once tried to acquire the Anaheim Angels,which consist of using one pitcher every 3 innings in regardless of what the score is, that is why they have lost some games with releiver wasting some team leads from previous pirchers, thatīs exactly what have happened over the last two games they lost against Cancun.

AGUASCALIENTES--LAGUNA

The Railroadmen, with the Caribbean combo of Dominican JUAN FRANCISCO PEŅA pitching and winning (2-0) and Venezuelan slugger EDUARDO RIOS who drove in 4 runs, with one round tripper included (2), helped thier team to beat Cowboys 10-4.
Aguascalientes, scored 4 runs in the opener with Rioīs homer, and 4 more in the 7th, where EDUARDO RIOS, BOBBY LARA and REFUGIO CERVANTES had RBIīs singles.
Leo estrella lost for Laguna. (0-2).

MONCLOVA--TIJUANA

Colts had to fight over 15 innings to beat the Steelers, thanked to a HR by rookie catcher and local boy ENRIQUE LUJAN, 5-4.
By winning this important game Tijuana tied the series to Monclova and today , in the decisive game they will try to wrap things up to their side.
JOSE SANCHEZ (1-0) the winner, and JASIEL ACOSTA (0-1) the loser.
Venezuelan LUIS LANDAETA hit his second homer of the year for Tijuana.
It was a long game, in fact the longest ever for Tijuana in Mexican Legaue, that lasted 5 hours and 30 minutes ending after midnight.
