Jorge Campillo (8-0) win over Mazatlan, and Cuban Ariel Prieto (7-0) victory over Navojoa,both with identical scores of 1-0, made them remain undefeated. Marc Kroon,picked up his 16th save
Adan Muñoz´s winning homer run ,his 13th was all Campillo needed to get this important win over their closest enemy ,Mazatlan. Campillo is one game shy of tying the league reacord of most wins udefeated,posted by Tim Leary back in 1989, and pitching for Tijuana posted 9-0 record in the season

Meanwhile, in Obregon yesterday Prieto allowed only 4 hits in 8 innings work, while outdueling Mario Mendoza Jr, who also allowed only 3 hits, one of them by Javier Robles to win the game, and have Yaquis won the series 2-1 games.
Mendoza Jr. has been a pleasant surprise as starter, after spending most of his career in Mexican base ball as reliever, previously as Anaheim property he used to be a starter, now is heading back.

In Saturday´s game, Andy Tracy walk off HR (12), off Julio Valerio, made the Yaquis win over Navojoa 7-6, and right after Pedro Castellano 3run shot at the 9th top, has tied the game over closer Allan Simpson, who all of of sudden and miraclously took the win with Tracy´s home run.

In Mexicali, Fernando Valenzuela, making odds look good, finally got his first win of the season, improving his pitching performance and beat, former teamates Hermosillo Orange Growers,allowing 3 hits and 2 runs ( a Dan Johnson´s 2 runs HR), and Mexicali won 3-2.
