SK Wyverns 10 – Hyundai Unicorns 1:
The Wyverns’ 10 runs in the first game of a doubleheader was more than enough for the win for Chae Byung-ryong (7-2) who gave up only one run in seven innings in Inchon.
SK Wyverns 7 – Hyundai Unicorns 0:
Lee Seung-ho (4-2) yielded no runs, three hits, and a walk to shutout Hyundai in the second game.
Hanwha Eagles 8 – Samsung Lions 5:
Lee Sang-mok (8-2) continued to lead the KBO in wins with the victory over the Lions in Taejon
Tilson Brito hit a sixth-inning two-run homer for Samsung.
Kia Tigers 8 - Lotte Giants 1:
Daniel Rios (5-6) picked up the win allowing only one run and four hits in 8 1/3 innings in Kwangju.
Doosan Bears 9 - LG Twins 4:
A ninth-inning three-run homer by Hong Won-ki ninth was part of the Bears’ nine run and 14 hit barrage over the Twins in the frist game of a doubleheader in Seoul.
Doosan Bears 6 - LG Twins 3:
Kim Dong-joo hit third-inning homer for Doosan in the second game.
Park Myung-hwan (1-6) gave up three runs in eight innings for the win.
Koo Ja-woon notched saves in both games.
