EATON COMES UP SHORT

We needed this win to keep pace;
step up, man, we’re in a pennant race!
With two on and two out, a good pitch was needed,
Adam Eaton knew that, but did he heed it?
Far from it, he fell flat on his face.

Saturday, June 23, 2007. Busch Stadium, St. Louis, Missouri.
St. Louis – 8, Philadelphia – 3.
WP – Wainright (6-6), LP – Eaton (7-5).
H- Flores (8), Springer (4).
HR – Encarnacion (5), 4th, 2 out, 2 on; Duncan (14), 6th, 1 on, 0 out.
