RYAN HOWARD, NATIONAL LEAGUE MVP
You can feel it whenever he’s hitting,
you should be standing, not sitting.
Each swing a potential game-winner,
opponent’s chances get thinner and thinner.
Most valuable player, most fitting.

A remarkable feat
for a youngster so neat...
Too bad there are those
with their thumb at their nose...
Who won't give him his due
with cries and a hue...
Might even accuse
of some sort of abuse...
Cause their guy lost out
to a young man with clout...
Game over, you lost
your champion got tossed...
By the votes of the writers and fans
to the ranks that we know as the also rans...
So lets start over when spring rolls around,
and the balls start bouncing all over the ground...
We'll see who prevails in 2007
in this contest of wills we proclaim as Heaven...
