FISH TANKED

Florida started six rookies.
Don’t laugh, these guys are tough cookies.
Brett Myers pitched well,
but our hitting did smell;
Fish looking good to the bookies.

July 28, 2006. Citizens Bank Park, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Florida – 4, Philadelphia – 1.

WP – Nolasco (9-6), LP – Myers (6-5).
HR – Howard (33).
Utley singles in 8th – hitting streak at 28.
David Bell traded to Milwaukee for minor league
pitcher Wilfredo Laureano

A loss to the Fish
Likely won't kill us...
But out on the dish
stands Dontrelle Willis...

Our hope for control
of the series is clear
hope a Hamels named Cole
stands up with no fear...
