SNAKES CHARMED

Cory Lidle, the charmer, was on top of his game;
made D-backs lumber look lame.
Mike Lieberthal hit number one to tie it,
Howard and Rowand knocked in runs to buy it.
Time to show Florida more of the same.

July 27, 2006. Citizens Bank Park, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Philadelphia – 5, Arizona – 2.
WP – Lidle (8-7), Save- Gordon (25). LP – Vargas (8-7)
HR – Gonzalez (10), Jackson (9)
Lieberthal (1).

Silly Phillies
give me the willies !!!
Like riding a roller coaster
pop up like bread in a toaster...
Then drop to the bottom
like jetsome and flotsom...

Sometimes up and sometimes down
with no pattern to show
play like a champ and then like a clown...
hard to tell which way to go...

Like the girl
with the curl...
and which way you spin it...
Can always count on a thrill a minute...
