PHILS HIT SIX HOMERUNS – LOSE DOUBLEHEADER TO BALTIMORE
GAME ONE
The kid Hamels has much to learn
as the Phillies continue to burn.
All of his numbers were bad,
I’m telling you, folks, it was sad.
In game two the next rookies’ turn.
June 28, 2006. Orioles Park at Camden Yards, Baltimore, Maryland.
Baltimore – 7, Philadelphia – 4.
WP – Bedard (8-6), Save – Ray (20). LP – Hamels (1-4).
HR – Ra Hernandez (14), Roberts (1).
Burrell (19), Victorino (4).
GAME TWO
The basehits (21) came like rain,
much to Scott Mathieson’s pain.
Howard hit two of Phils’ four,
not enough - we needed eight more,
team continues to toil in vain.
Baltimore – 12, Philadelphia – 5.
WP – Benson (9-5), LP – Mathieson (0-2).
HR – Ra Hernandez (15).
Utley (15), Dellucci (4), Howard – 2 (27).

Not much to show
after 7 in a row...
No place to go
but up, but no
relief in sight...
Try as they might
they can't get it right !!!

PEDRO COMES BACK TO BOSTON WITH BELOVED CHEERS
DAMON RETURNS TO HEAR BOOS AND CHEERS
ONE SUPPOSES THAT IF YOU TAKE THE METS DOLLARS YOU CAN GO,GO, GO
BUT IF YOU TAKE YANKEES MONEY IT'S A NO, NO, NO
BOTH DAMON & PEDRO HELPED BOSTON WIN THE WORLD SERIES, THAT'S A FACT
TO APPLAUD ONE AND DENIGRATE THE OTHER, IS DEPLORABLE AND A BUSHLEAGUE ACT!!
