Phillies Journal - 2006

by Max Blue

How much do we have to endure
before Phils management’s sure
that Gavin Floyd can’t pitch up here?
By now to all it’s quite clear
that his stuff compares to manure.

June 1, 2006. Dodger Stadium, Los Angeles, California.
Los Angeles – 7, Philadelphia – 2.
WP – Lowe (4-3). LP – Floyd (4-3).
HR – Kemp (1), Martin (2), Drew (8).

is havin
a lousy year
take him out and buy him a beer...

Hanging pitches up in the zone
like giving a hungry dog a bone...
They go out much faster than they come in...
and again the boys take it on the chin...

Course they couldn't do much with Lowe..
so it really don't matter that Gavin can't throw...
When you pile up the eggs of a goose
you can't win or lose !!!
