DUQUECITO IS BETTER

Cory Lidle thought he pitched pretty well,
never mind that familiar losing smell.
Livan Hernandez could teach him some tricks:
not to serve up those hanging-curve bricks.
Are we good? Next ten games may well tell.

Showed some spark a little while back...
With 13 of 14 we were on the right track...
But like the old song we used to sing...
"One lousy robin don't make no spring !!!"

Back to our ho hum ways we went
as the "mo" from our spree was casually spent...
Now we face a bunch on the road...
Tough teams out west
will call for the best...

Have we got it or not ?
will we blow cold or hot?
The next dozen will tell
If we sprinted or fell...
Stay tuned to this spot...
