The Tigres del Chinandega's Walter Seville drove in Wilson Batista and Ambiorix Conception in the bottom of the 11th inning to defeat the Fieras del San Fernando for the 2005/2006 Nicaraguan Professional Baseball League crown. San Fernando's pitcher Rafael Batiste had Chinandega up against the wall with two outs and behind by a score of 8-7.

The Fieras overcame a 5-0 first inning deficit to outpower the Tigres behind Norman Cardoze's grand slam homer in the sixth inning

Adolph Matamoros connected for a three run blast in the fourth inning that broke a 0-0 tie to lead Chinandega past San Fernando.

Tigres 8 - Fieras 2

Matamoros hit only one home run in 159 plate appearances during the 2005/2006 LNBP regular season. Adolph slugged his second three run homer in consecutive nights to sink the Fieras. Chinandega's Miguel Perez and San Fernando's Asdrudes Flores each yielded one hit through the first five scoreless innings.

The Fieras del San Fernando slipped past the Tigres del Chinandega in Game #4 of the Nicaraguan Professional Baseball League Championship Series in Managua to tie the LNBP series at two games a piece.

Ambriorix Concepción of the Tigres del Chinandega blasted a two run homer to break a 4-4 tie in the eighth inning to sink the Fieras del San Fernando in Game #5 of the Nicaraguan Professional Baseball League Championship Series in Masaya.
