HABANA COWBOYS WAITED ODELIN DEPARTURES TO BEAT THE CERAMISTS
The Cowboys starter Yudel Tudero and Camaguey Ceramists Vicyhondri Odelín had a pitchers duel until Cuban team pitcher Odelin exited the game in the 7th. The Cowboys only had one hits against Odelin courtesy of Alexei López. Ernesto Molinet had a Grand Slam.
GUANTÁNAMO SWEEPT ISLA DE LA JUVENTUD
Playing as a visitors, Isla de la Juventud sweept Guantánamo during the first series between them, but this time was the other way aroung. The Indians beat the Grapefruit Croppers 9x7 helped by homers from Roberquis Videaux (3-2) and Yoenny Southerán (5-2). Alexander Digurnay had his 9 save.
SANTIAGO DE CUBA BEAT PINAR DEL RÍO
Alexander Jorge hit the winning run in the 10th inning helping the Wasps beat the Cigar Makers 5x4.
Manuel Benavides (6-2), José J. Ruiz (5-3) and Rolando Meriño (5-2) led the Wasps attack.
