Yaquis outdueled Venados for as long as 11 innings, a battled that Doug DeVore resumed with his 5th home run of the year, and beat Venados 1-0 off loser in relief Eleazar Mora .
Pablo Ortega , starting for Mazatlan went 10 innings with solid pitching , allowing 8 hits, so Yaquis starter Carlos Elizalde went 9 with only 3 hits.
Devore collectd 2 hits as well as countrymen Chris Coste, in a game that recently traded pitcher Cecilio Garibaldi made his debut with Yaquis and payed dividend by picking his first save of the season.


In another sensational pitching duel, Oscar Rivera outdueled Oliver Perez and shutout Culiacan 2 -0, working 7 innings with 4 hits and 4 K`s.
Perez went only 4 innings allowing 4 hits, however was knocked in with on run in the 3rd through a Doug Clark sacrifice fly.
Navojoa scored their second run in the 5th inning thanks to the 11th home run of the winter by Jesse Gutierrez.
Top closer Scott Chiasson picked his 17th save of the season, in a game where Culiacan OF Ben Francisco collected 3 hits.
