CULIACAN - OBREGON

Albino Contreras homered for the third time in a smany consecutive game, and scored through a wild pitch the winning run for Yaquis to beat Tomateros 4-3 and loser Jesus Guzman.
Rookie Jesus Aurelio Rodriguez get the victory with closer Jaokim Soria picking un his 6th save of the winter.Chris Coste singled home a pair of runs and Chris Latham puth the 3rd with his 3rd home run of the season.

NAVOJOA – MAZATLAN

Miguel Ojeda (2) and Daniel Fornes (2) homered to lead Venados to win off Navojoa by 4-2 and by the same token tied the top standing along with them and Cañeros.
Winner Jose Cobos went 1.2 innings in relief to starter Pablo Ochoa allowing no hits and no runs, Jose Luis Garcia come in his rescue to pick the save (1).

MOCHIS – MEXICALI

Cañeros stamped Mexicali with their 5th lost in a row, winning 8-5 with Francicso Rodriguez on the mound off losing Julio Cesar Parra.
Displaying a powerful offense , where Rontrez Johnson (8), Ramon Orantes ( 9 ) and Saul Soto ( 4 ) homered, and drove 3 runs in apiece all against 6 Eagles pitchers who were capable to stop them.
So, Cañeros with Mexicali native Rodriguez winning , come back to the top of the table shared by Mazatlan and Navojoa.

HERMOSILLO - GUASAVE

Cottoneers shutout Naranjeros 6-0 with Rudy Gonzalez pitching and getting support from Mario Valenzuela`s 2 ribbies who along with Armando Rios ,and Dave Doster collected 2 hits per head in this game.


MEX PAC NOTES

• Hermosillo released pitcher Nelson Figueroa and signed Jim Crowell who started this season with Mazatlan and has a 1-1 record as closer

• Navojoa`s OF , Norris Hopper is the new league batting leader with .341 displacing Noe Muñoz
