Guasave Cottoneers beat Mexicali 11-6 with veteran Leo Moreno winning off another Moreno, Claudio supported by 2 home runs and 4 RBI by Mario Valenzuela, his 9th and 10th of the season to entered to the power king race with Luis Alfonso Garcia and Ruben Rivera.
Leo went 5 innings with 6 hits and 2 runs , while the other Moreno, went the same distance but allowing 10 hits and 6 runs for Mexicali from whom 3B Augie Murillo collected 3 hits.

In Obregón, Mazatlán continued their winning pace and defeated Yaquis 10 -2 with winner Francisco Campos whose inspiring pitching along 6 innings allowing 5 hits and only 2 runs along with the good batting support by Venezuelan Pedro Castellano and Migueol Flores who hit homers was good enough to beat loser , winningless Mark Nussbeck who got his 3rd lost of the season.
Miguel Ojeda went 4-2 , 2 ribbies as well as Edgar Gonzalez , Todd Linden and Miguel Flores.
In previous visit Venados`s Adrian and now his brother Edgar swung a good bat against Obregon , their dad`s hometown to show Yaquis they were wrong by not bringing them to play with them, in regardless that they expressed their desire to come and play there.
For Obregon, Orioles Catcher Geronimo Gil went deep for the second time in the season, as well as Carlos Valecia who continued his power displayed in summer league, hitting his 7th of the year.

Rontrez Johnson ( 4,5) hit 2 home runs and drove 5 runs in support to winner Nick Mattioni to beat Navojoa Mayos 10 -2, their 4 in a row off losing pitcher Humberto Montemayor.
Cañeros `s Christian Quintero reached 24 consecutive games hitting safely and come closer to the league`s record of 29 set by former Oriole Andres Moa who did it back in 1986.
Former player of the week, Victor Bojorquez went 5 -3 in the night to keep swinging a good batt and his now batting a solid .322 I the season.


Hermosillo beat Culiacan 7-5 with winner Juan Delgaodillo on the mound off Chad Zerbe and counting with the support of home runs by Iker Franco and Culiacan`s native and former Red Sox farmhand, Alex Ahumada.For Culiacan Randall Simon hit his 3rd of the year.
Nelson Figueroa made his debut with Hermsillo going 1 inning safely in relief to starter Delgadillo, Arizona`s Oscar Villarreal also worked 1.2 innings To picked up his first save of the season.
