Navojoa Mayos pulled up for their power hitting, belting 4 home runs , the last one a Grand Slam by DOUGLAS CLARK in the bottom of ther 8th to beat Cañeros 9-6 .
Closer and winning pitcher SCOTT CHIASSON get his first win in MexPac , off ALEJANDRO CHAVEZ who left two men on to reliever MARCUS GWYNN the victim of Clark´s missile.
Evereything get started when Kenny Kelly walked , the Sergio Contreras singled , forcing manager Juan Navarrete to change pitcher and bringing Gwynn in to hit Norris Hopper to load bases and set the table for Clark´s grand slam.
Kelly, Jonathan Aceves , Abel Martinez also went deep for Mayos , and as for Cañeros Trini Armenta did it.

For Hermsillo , hot hitters JUAN CARLOS “ CANELO “ CANIZALEZ and LUIS ALFONSO GARCIA belted home runs, being Garciás number 7h of the season , to lead all in this department.

Obregon relief pitching kept on struggling and in a carbon copy of all previous games, blew Yaquis leading and lost another game off Venados and FRANCISCO CAMPOS by 9 -3.
Starter , MARK NUSSBECK sustained the pitching duel until the bottom of the 7th , leaving the game ahead 2 -1 to Bustillos when he walked Obregonian Daniel Fornes , then Casey McGehee sac bunted followed by a one man on home run by DON ANDERSON to turn score in favor of Venados.
Mazatlan continued the massacre in the 8th scoring a 6 runs rally to complete the blasting.
Campos , has no easy ride allowing 5 hits and 2 runs in 7.1 innings pitched.

Guasave Cottoneers , kept on winning and atop the MexPac beating Mexicali 7 -1 to tie series up, supported in a tremendous performance by SPIKE LUNDBERG who remained undefeated by getting his 3rd win of the year , allowing only 4 hits while going the distance.
BRIAN ROADAWAY the loser for Eagles from whom HOWIE CLARK hit his 3rd round tripper of the year.
