CARLOS VALENCIA went 5-3 with a home run and 4 ribbies, as well as LUIS FIGUEROA who went 4-4, a homer and 4 ribbies, to lead Tijuana Colts to defeat Laguna Cowboys, 14-7 with winner NATE BLAND off HUGO VERDUGO.
It was a historic game since Valencia´s shot was his 29th of the season, tying the league´s record of most home runs by a second baseman set by MOI CAMACHO in 1963, while playing Puebla Parrots; and to complete this historic moment held at Estadio Revolucion in Torreon, the former record holder Moi Camacho WITNESSED the moment Valencia tied his record, Camacho a Laguna area native,gave a round of applauses to Carlos, now VALENCIA has the chance to break it up within the next 18 games left to the season.
Anyway if he does not hit a homer anymore, his must be cosdiered as new record, beacuse he only needed 415 AB to hit his 29th and 93 games, while Camacho posted his record playing in 134 games in 485 AB.
EMMANUEL VALDEZ (19), JULIO HERNANDEZ (15) and JUVENAL IBARRA (2) also homered for Tijuana.

Railroadmen rallied 5 runs in the 4th inning,to break a tie at 4, and beat Sultans 11-7 with winning pitcher IGNCIO MONTAÑO off EDWIN HURTADO.In that inning, REFUGIO CERVANTES started all with his 17th shot of the season, then RONTREZ JOHNSON doubled home two more, and GRIMALDO MARTINEZ tripled home the last run.For Monterrey, DYONIS CESAR got his 10th of the year.

DANNY MAGEE performed like the good old days,tossing a solid 7 innings game allowing only 4hits and one run to beat Cancun Lobstermen 8-1.
Supporting this victory were,VICENTE VERDUGO who drove in 2 runs for the Pirates cause,and BILL SELBY who belted his 23rd of the year.

RICARDO SAENZ (18) walk off home run in the bottom of the 11th inning, good for 3 runs left San Luis stranded and knocked out by 9-8.Reliever RENATO FLORES took the win, while JUAN CERROS "a closer" took the loss for San Luis.
Before Saen´s homer, SHARNOL ADRIANA (22) Homer had put San Luis in advantage 8-6, his second in the game, where LEO ARAUZ smash his 14th of the year for Monclova.

RAFAEL DIAZ went 7 innings allowing 6 hits and 2 Devils runs, and FERNANDO VILLEGAS went 3-2 with 4 ribbies to lead Saltillo to beat Red Devils 11-2.
MARIO VALENZUELA contributed with his 23rd of the year.

In a city brotherhood series, Tigers defeated Parrots 7-4, after a 3 runs wal off home run by SERGIO CONTRERAS and made reliever LEO MUÑOZ the winner, and LUIS MACIAS the loser.
Interesting to note that, Sergio´s twin brother ALBINO plays for Puebla, and they are both, former Anaheim Angels farmhands.

FELIX JOSE (23) went 5-3 with 2 home runs, 4 ribbies and 3 scored runs in support to winner HORACIO ESTRADA and Warriors beat Reds by 11-3 off loser RAFAEL PIÑA.
For Veracruz LUIS CARLOS GARCIA belted his 13th of the season.

SAID GUTIERRE walk off singled home the winning run and Yucatan defeated Tabasco Olmecas 5-4 in 12 innings.GARY ESPADAS won in relief,meanwhile ROBERTO PIMENTEL working likewise lost for Olmecas.
For Tabasco, CARLOS SIEVERS shot his 16th of the season, and SCOTT BULLETT his 22nd for Yucatan.
