BARRAGE IN BREW TOWN
The Phillies hit four out of sight
And yet the game still remained tight.
Wolf and Santos engaged in a duel,
For the Brewers the outcome was cruel.
The tunnel is long, but maybe there’s light.
May 9, 2005. Miller Park, Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Philadelphia – 4, Milwaukee – 2.
Michaels, Abreu, and two for Chase Utley.
Carlos Lee with a man on for the Brewers.

Hope the light in the tunnel isn't a train...
Pitching ain't bad, but hitting is weak,
Not the kind that leads to a streak.
Which we need if we are to advance Up the standings and have a good chance
To be a contender for a gauranteed place
In the playoffs for the National East race
So we root for the home team and hold our dear breath
As they daily surprise us and scare us to death...
