Washington takes Series from the Braves; open up at home tied for first

Who says managers need a bullpen to finish out ball games in this era? Not Jack McKeon, skipper for the Marlins, who had his bullpen selling popcorn and peanuts to the fans after the fourth inning. "Those guys I have in the pen are useless, just taking up space, so I made them go and make some money back for the team" said McKeon.
Okay so I may be exaggerating a little with that last quote( really not a quote at all), but really what the heck are these guys getting paid for? Dontrelle Willis threw his second shutout in as many starts, the first pitcher to have back-to-back shutouts to start the season since 1982, as he fanned seven Phillies and only allowed three hits while regrettably walking one. Well, at least he has something to work on.The middle field triangle of Juan Pierre(CF), Luis Castillo(2B), and Damion Easley(SS), each combined for two hits apiece of Phillies starter Cory Lidle(0-1), who certainly didn't have a bad outing, just against the wrong stud.
Word has it the some of the National League hitters are petitioning for the use of oversized tennis rackets when they have to face the Marlins, not that it would help any.
