TIJUANA--MONTERREY

RANDALL SIMON put up a magic show last night in Monterrey with two home runs ,one a grand slam and a total of 5 RBI to contibute to an important win of the Colts off Sultans 8-5.
Catcher EMMANUEL VALDEZ added another shot and 2 RBI to complete the work.
Relief pitcher SALVADOR GARIBAY took the credit, and also relief pitcher GAUDENCIO AGUIRRE the loss.
With this first serie won by Colts, it looks like they´re on their way to a good season after a concerning start, in which their offensive were that good but pitching needed some tune up, and one has to think about adding one more quality starter to this rotation and then will be ready for better things in the season.

MONCLOVA --MEXICO CITY

The Steelers attacked Red Devils starter and loser JOSE SILVA with 6 runs in a 5.2 inning work, and beat his team 10-1, in a home delivery loss.
FERDINAND "BOI" RODRIGUEZ drove in 4 runs for Monclova including a HR in it.
and starting pitcher, JASON JACOME scattered 3 hits and allowed only 1 run in 6 inings of work to get this victory.

TABASCO--PUEBLA

Veteran pitcher JESUS RIOS (1-0) continues to write history on his own, and pitching 5 innings helped Olmecas to win 15-11 off Puebla -, supported on ESTEBAN YAN who drove 4 runs in with a HR included.
Dominican RAFAEL ROQUE (0-1) took the loss.

SALTILLO--AGUASCALIENTES

Sarape Makers beat Railroadmen, 10-3 with winning pitcher in relief MARIO MENDOZA JR (1-0) and losing also in relief MARCO ANTONIO DIAZ.
Saltillo´s 2B FRANCISCO ARIAS drove 3 runs.
EDUARDO RIOS (2) for Aguascalientes hit a solo HR.

ANGELOPOLIS--YUCATAN

Angelopolis Tigers scored 2 runs in the 7th inning to beat Yucatan Lions 5-3, with starter PABLO ORTEGA the winner (1-1) in a 7 innings work, allowing 8 hits and 2 runs.
HUGO VIZCARRA the loser (0-1).
SCOTT BULLET for Yucatan hit his first home run of the year.

CAMPECHE--VERACRUZ

WILLIS OTAÑEZ continues red hot and going 5-3 two HR included reaching 5 in the season and driving in 5 runs led the Reds to a victory off Campeche 11-3.
LUIS FERNANDO MORALES, the winning pitcher (1-0), and JAVIER DE LA HOYA the loser (0-1).
Catcher HECTOR PAEZ drove in the Campeche´s 3 runs with a two men on HR.

OAXACA--CANCUN

Cancun Lobstermen defeated Oaxaca 12-5 with winning pitcher OCTAVIO SALGADO (1-0) in relief to starter, and losing JOEL NAVARRO (0-1)
OSCAR SALAZAR (1) for Cancun and FELIX JOSE (2) for Oaxaca hit homers in this game.

LAGUNA--SAN LUIS

The Cowboys defeated San Luis 8-7 in 11 innings, with OSWALDO VERDUGO winning in relief (2-0) and SALVADOR VILLARREAL (0-1) losing for Tuneros.
