Venezuelan team, Aragua Tigers beat Cibao Eagles of DR, 7-5 in the opener of wednesday journey as Mexican team Deer , bet Puerto Rican Mayagiuez Indians by identical score 7-5.
Aragua led by the pitching of Josmir Romero and the bat of another Romero, OF Alex, who collected 3 hits including a 2 RBI HR, were all his team needed to win this game over Dominican team.

It was not an easy game after a brave raction by DR in the bottomo of the ninth where they scored 5 runs and let two men on, when Dyonis Cesar gorunded out to second for the final out.
Baltimore Orioles pitcher,Daniel Cabrera started and lost for DR, followed by relievers Emiliano Giron, Arnie Mu˝oz and Miguel Batista.
For Venezuela, reliever Victor Moreno took the victory, asnd had the help of his comerades pitchers Jose Guanchez, Elio Serrano and closer Francisco Butto who nearly not close the door, accepting all 5 Dominican runs in the 9th.

For the second game, Mexico beat Puerto Rico in thier first game, and led by 3 HR ,one by our big leaguer 3b Vinny Castilla, Tampa Bay prospect Jonny Gomes and Derrick White, and the solid pitching performance of another big leaguer,pitcher Elmer Desens, were enough to get this victory, who put the local team on top of the standing ,undefeated in two games, and tonight they will face DR and Julian Tavarez .

PR scored first in the 3rd inning via HR by Julio Matos (KC), but Deer team responded with 5 ,in which Derrick Whites┤s blast was included.
Loser Bill Pulsipher went 4.2 inning allowing 8 hits, 5 K and 7 runs.
Winner, Dessens went 5 innings, with 5 hits and 2 runs and he was followed by 5 more relief pitchers, Eleazar Mora and Walter Silva (6) ,David Cortes, Luis Ayala and closer Greg Hansell who picked up the save.
Tonight against DR, Pablo Ortega will likeky start for Mexico versus Tavarez.


There will be and extended schedule for Monday 7th, to play DR vs. Puerto Rico the game originally scheduled for the opener of this series, which were not played because the late arrival of the Dominican team dued to Traveling problems.
Also, if necessary a tie breaking game will be played that night to resume series.

DR included Rafael Furcal adn Ronnie Belliard as addition players to even increased their major leagued plagued roster, led by Orioles SS Miguel Tejada who spread elogious words for his teammate, mexican Rodrigo Lopez.He also get excited in knowing that Sammy Sosa will play with him.

Venezuela Manager who was highly criticized about removing pitcher Denny Medina against Mexico and after striking out 6 of seven batters faced, said " that he does not want to expose off Medina to an injury, being such as young he is, with a limited experience in A ball with Twins organizations.

Pitcher Jose Lima did not come with DR team, because he had to comply with previous scheduled commitments with KC ,his team in major leagues.

Venezuelan IF, Ramon Castro who was signed by Washington Nationals and will join Mexican fellows, VinnyCastilla, Luis Ayala, Antonio Osuna and Esteban Loaiza, had grateful words on Vinny as being a leader and helpful for all latin players.
