Licey Tigers kept their chances to be champions by beating Cibao Eagles ,last night 10-9 in a torrid game played at Cibao Stadium, who had thei champagne ready to be opened but had to wait until maybe today to dos so.
Reliever pitcher Melquis Torres won this game and also reliever Luis Pineda lost it.

For Tonight´s game, Miguel Batista is going for Cibao, while Manny Aybar will do it for Licey.
Alex Cabrera did all
In Maracay, home of the Aragua Tigers,Caracas come from behind to win and forced to a tie breaking game today.by beating the Tigers 14-10.
Cracas sored 3 runs in the opener, thanked to a HR by Alex Cabrera and added one more in the second inning, after a HR by Jose Castillo all off starting pitcher Josmir Romero.
However,Aragua blasted the Cracas pitchers ,starter Edwin Hurtado and reliever Juan Carlos Ovalles, scoring 10 runs in the 3rd inning, in which Ramon Hernandez hit a Grand Slam .
Aragua scored 4 more runs, included HR by Henry Blanco and Abreu, and tied the game at 10 runs in the 5th inning.
But, the table was set for slugger Alex Cabrera who wrapped things up to the Caracas
team homering for 3 runs more and made his team won this important game.
Tonigh, ther will be a new champion, and pitchers Jesus Reina for Caracas and Jan Carlos Pulido for Aragua will have the big repsonsability to carry out their teams to a final victory......let´s see who is the new Venezuelan baseball champion.
The Mexican league announced the additional player who will join the Deer, and they are the following:
Pitchers, Luis Ayala (Washington) who played for Culiacan, Elmer Dessens (Dodgers),played for Hermosillo, champion pitcher Jorge Campillo (Culiacan), David Cortes (Mexicali),big leaguers Vinny Castilla of the Washington Nationals who played briefly for Hermosillo and Oakland A´s DH, Erubiel Durazo, as well as Mexicali players, Derrick White, Bill Selby and Jonny Gomes a Tampa Bay prospect and finally but not least the hometown boy catcher Adan Amezcua, who played for Culiacan and a veteran in this series, and the MVP in Caracas caribbean series, where Culiacan got the title in 2002.
It seems logical to take on this players, since Mazatlan does not really had a big line up, they win because their pitching staff who were the best in the regular season, and additional hitting were needed to compete in Caribbean series
