Thank you for your explanation. So the Tijuana Potros will play in the Mexican League and looks like the Toros will be in the independant Golden Baseball League.

Laredo franchise played last season in Tijuana as temporary home for the team just for 2004 season
, in an attempt to overcome the low attendance they were facing there and Tijuana responded so well.
This season the laredo franchise was sold to a group of local investors, becoming a Tijuana owned team, named Potros after the previous group owning this name transferred the name to the new owners.
Yes, all team rosters and team rights belong now to Potros.

What happened? Why did the Mexican League decide to change team ownership? Will the Potros have the same players as the Toros last year?

Yes, Tijuana POTROS will be part of the Mexican League, it is confirmed.Toros are not confirmed to participate since they do not have a stadium to use in Tijuana, because the only one available is owned by the municipal government and it has been leased to the new Potros staff, headed by David Gonzalez, father of Rangers 1B Adrian Gonzalez.

The Toros de Tijuana (Tijauna Bulls) have signed an agreement with the new Golden Baseball League of California and Arizona.
Will Tijuana still be a part of the Mexican League for 2005? If not what team will replace them. Tijuana had the highest attendance 2004 in the Mexican League after moving from Laredo.
