Semifinal series are tied after two games played and all teams will travel holding one agme a piece, and change scenarios looking for better and lucky result in their respectives home towns.
Culiacan Tomato Growers got the first game over Mazatlan 5-3, thanked to a power show , performed by former Big leaguer, RUBEN RIVERA who knocked two out of the park, meanwhile starter VICTOR ALVAREZ and relievers JOSE SILVA ,the winner ,CRAIG DINGMAN and LUIS AYALA , who picked up the save.PABLO OCHOA in relief also, lost the game.
KARIM GARCIA also homered for Culiacan ,as MIGUEL OJEDA did it for Mazatlan driving 3 runs in.

For the second game played in Culiacan, things got different, and Mazatlan took on tomato growers,coming from behind 5-4, and after MIGUEL OJEDA tied the game with a two runs double, followed by another one by DANIEL FORNES to win this game.
PABLO ORTEGA ,got his third win of play offs and GREG HANSELL picked the save, while, JOSE SILVA lost for Culiacan.

Series will continue in Mazatlan on Friday as JORGE CAMPILLO and FRANCISCO CAMPOS will start for both teams

In Los Mochis, Mexicali Eagles beat the sugar cane growers in the first, and once again CHARLES "BUBBA" SMITH, performed as he knws with round trippers to lead his team to a win by a score of 7-4.
There was total of 5 homers displayed by Mexicali, having in SERGIO GASTELUM, CHRISTIAN PRESICHI nd JONNY GOMES the other contributors.
Gomes continued to smash this league pitching and his performance has resembled as the best ever from a foreigner player, and thatīs something, specially for his playing attitude ,so much aggresivenes to play,in both offensively and defensively.

Yesterday, things got the other way around, when local team took the victory,5-1 off FERNANDO VALENZUELA,who went 4-1 innings with 6 hits and 3 runs to picked up the lost.
A 3 runs bases loaded double by JAYSON BASS , was all what they needed to get this tying game.
BRONSWEL PATRICK, the winner with a solid 7 innings work, and REGGIE HARRIS come to close the game and get the save.
Series will move down to Mexicali and DENNYS REYES and CLAUDIO MORENO were announced to start.
