Obregon Yaquis after sweeping the Navojoa Mayos, become the new leader tying up Culiacan, and with 6 series played in the young season.
Yesterday Chris Coste and debuting Chris Coste, homered to lead Yaquis to a victory, and makes Cuban pitcher Ariel Prieto becomes a 4 games winner and still undefeated.
Catcher Iker Franco a Tampa farmhand, keep in a impressive start blasting his 9th HR of the season in just 20 games, and Hermosillo beat Mexicali.
Rontrez Johnson (Mochis), is the new batting leader followed by Javier Robles (Obregon).
Pitcher Jorge Campillo (Culiacan) is the top winner after getting his 5th win.
Jorge Cantu ( Tampa Bay), got 6 RBI´s in a game against Guasave, while hitting his 4th HR, and also becoming on of leagues top ten hitters.

Obregon Yaquis,put pitcher Salvador Rodriguez into the DL, and activated former Brave Luis Carlos Rivera,also OF Roberto Mendez was put on the reserves list and activaded recently traded from Culiacan and hometown boy,former Oakland A's, IF Mario Valdez.
Los Mochis Sugarcane Growers,activated IF Ivan Cervantes for IF Luis Carlos Martinez
,who went to the DL.
Also, OF Josh Kroeger ( Tucson)was put on DL, and D.J Houlton (Roun Rock Express, Texas League),replaced him.
Hermosillo, sent P Ryan Glynn (Syracuse) to the DL, and Matt Childers ( Indianapolis) replaced him.
Navojoa, fired Manager Frank Kremblas, who managed the Huntsville Stars in AA ball,and Mario Mendoza come over, to replaced him.
A former SS with Seattle and Pirates in his playing days, became famous for his poor hitting, below .200, and made baseball knew that average as the "mendoza line".
Kremblas a young manager, becomes the first skipper to be released, but not the only one because Mexicali Eagles also fired his former Manager Enrique Reyes and Tim Johson come over.
Johnson a veteran in this league has managed Obregon for the last two season, Mazatlan and Hermosillo, he is popular for bringing their teams to a final series but losing them all.

Correction on this report, Geronimo Gil and not Chris Coste has made his debut with Obregon,playing last night game against Navojoa, so sorry...
