Hello! Did I get that right?
Cleveland 22 Yankees zero last night?
Surely there’s been a mistake
The proud Yankees looking like cake?
Making Herb Rogoff sick for Ruth’s sake.
The baseball earth quakes at the sight.
Jaybird chips in . . .
After years of frustration
The Injun Nation
Laid into the Yanks
With no thought of thanks
For the ones down the middle
Which were really no riddle
For the bats of the Tribe...
Like accepting a bribe !!!

I'll bet he's accusin
His boys while they drop
Of taking a flop...
While the Sox come a creepin'
Like a thief in the night
The Yanks they are sleepin'
so turn out the light !!!
