Phils pitchers lead league in giving up homers...Abreau and Thome get blown out by Manzonillo...Worrell floundering, Wagner hurt...Phils look to be in deep trouble and somewhat disarray...According to Jeff Brantley, Kerrigan believes it's just as easy to score from first as from 2nd thus he don't really work at holding on runners which doesn't give Lieberthal much of a chance...sloppy thinking seems to be what is doing in the Phils...alters the whole approach to the game...
