This Week's Highlight -- May 22, 2004: Yokohama Tops Chunichi in Extra-Inning Thriller
Tyrone Woods blasted a 1-out 2-run 12th-inning "sayonara" home run off Shigeki Noguchi to give the Yokohama BayStars a 7-6 victory over the Chunichi Dragons at Yokohama Stadium. Woods' game-winning longball came just after Alex Ochoa hit his own clutch homer off Kazuhiro Sasaki with two outs and nobody on in the top of the 12th to give the Dragons a 6-5 lead. All told, the thrilling contest lasted 5 hours and 40 minutes, the 13th longest game in Japanese Baseball history. (Henry Lu, HLu@BaseballGuru.com)
