TIGERS GOT CANCUN TWICE
The Puebla Tigers, won two games in a doubleheader, by scores of 4-2 and 1-0, taking advantage of a good pitching from Edgar Leyva ( 2-0) in the first game, and supported by Luis Carlos Garcia (Diamondbacks), who hit a HR to clinch the game, for Cancun Rookie IF Fernando Alejos, in his first season as starter, hit his 3rd HR , of the season. Jordy Alxander (1-1) took the loss, and Panamian closer Santos Hernandez, got his 6th save.
For the second game, Tigers pitcher Luis Estrella (2-1), outdueled Edgar Perez for a (0-1) shutout in eight innings, Santos Hernadez did it again and saved his second game of the day, and 7th in the season.

Julio Mosquera had no mercy against Devils pitchers and starter Jose Silva ( former Pittsburgh), and with 2 HR´s and 4 RBI´s, and led the Pirates to a 9-6 win over Mexico City team, while recently acquired pitcher Aaron Acosta got his first win of the season, and Silva´s loss, was his second after 3 wins.
Veteran reliever Isidro Marquez, a former White Sox, got the save, his 7th of the season and 207 of his career.

The Railroad Men, smashed the Steelers by a score of 14 to 5, supported with a 17 hits avalanche, and a first inning six runs rally, to lead the team to the victory.
In that first inning, they score six runs ,thanks to a RBI´s singles by Orlando Miller, Bobby Lara (2 rbi), and Ricardo Soriano, meanwhile winner Antonio Alvarez (2-1), pitched 7 innings, and loser pitcher Jaciel Acosta (Atlanta), took the loss, his third of the season (1-3).For Monclova Ramon Medina got his first HR of the season, a 3 runs shot in the 8th inning.

OAXACA 6, YUCATAN 5 IN EXTRAINNINGS
Jaime Brena´s GWRBI single in the 10th inning, gave the Warriors the victory over Yucatan Lions, yesterday in a very tight game played by both teams.
Warriors reliever Isaias Avalos (1-1), got the win, and also Yucatan reliever Ignacio Flores, took the loss (2-2), in the offensive side Hector Castañeda hit a homer (1) for Yucatan.

Eloy Arano went 4-4 in the game to lead the Veracruz Eagles to the victoiry over Tabasco Olmecas, having in Rafael Piña their winning pitcher ( 2-1), and Tavo Alvarez ( 3-1), the loosing pitcher and Eagle´s Juan Melo hit his 3rd round tripper of the season.

You won´t believe this, Vicente Palacios a long journeyman pitcher, who pitched in the Big Leagues with Pittsburgh, St. Louis and has spent so many seasons in this league, performed so well enough to give the Toros this win over the Laguna Cowboys by score of 12-2.
He pitched 5 innings, allowing 5 hits and two runs to get the win, his first, because he was used mainly as setter, but now Manager Carlos Hernandez ( former Dodgers Catcher), gave him the role of starting this game, and he delivered.
Toros offensive, were led by HR´s, of Daryl Brinley and Derrick White, and also for 3 RBI´s singles by Carlos Valencia,

Pedro Iturbe´s home run in the 8th, good for two runs, gave the League leader Puebla Parrotts, the win over the Saltillo Sarape Makers, by a score of 6-5, releiever LHP Roberto Ortega, got the win (1-0), and also reliever Jorge Luis Garcia ( 0-1), got the lost.
