Saltillo 7, Puebla 4

Saltillo Sarape Makers stopped Puebla´s 10 game winning streat, by defeated them 7-4, and to also stop then unbeaten pitcher Pablo Ortega, who took his first loss of the season, alter 4 wins in a row.
Former major leaguer, Dominican LHP Ravelo Manzanillo, (3-0) took the win,with the help of Mario Mendoza Jr. who picked up the save.
Colombian IF, Carlos Villalobos, hit a homer for the Parrotts, a3 RBI´s shot.

Oaxaca 5, Yucatan 2

Led by Dominican Pedro Santana offensive, who drove 4 runs in, the Oaxaca Warriors defeated Yucatan Lions, by 5- 2, supported by a strong pitching performance by RHP Carlos Elizalde, who isolated7 hits over 6 innings pitching, Venezuelan, Eduardo Rios hit his 3rd HR of the young season.

Monclova 5, Aguacalientes 0

Brian Ward´s outstanding pitching, who scattered 7 Railmen hits, and gave the Steelers a shutout victory by a score of 5-0.
J.J. Muñoz and Sergio Palafox hit HR´s for the Steelers
Mexico City 2, Campeche 1

Red Devils strong pitching performance led by Alfred Garcia and reliever Julio Valerio (2-0), outdueled Francisco (K´s) Campos, who as a non roster invitee, spent spring training with Chicago White Sox, by a score of 2-1.
Pedro Castellano, the good Venezuelan Player, hit a GW home run to eneded this match.For the Pirates, Panamanian Ruben Rivera drove the only run, with solo shot.

Monterrey 2, San Luis 0

In another shutout game, the Sultans beat the Tuna tree growers, dued to nice performance by former Mets farmhand ,Pablo Ochoa, who allowed 5 hits, and combined with 3 other relievers took the victory .

Tabasco 8, Veracruz 1

Cuban veteran Osvaldo Fernandez (3-2), pitching 8 innings, in which he allowed only 6 hits, to lead the Omeca team to a 3-1 win over the Eagles.
Oldest player in Mexican league, LHP Angel Moreno, took the loss (3-1).

Tijuana 8, Laguna 6

A costly error by Cowboys first baseman Fernando Rodriguez,allowed the Toros to score 3 runs in the bottom of the 7th inning, in move towards a coming from behind victory, by a score of 8-6.Juan Quintanilla (3-0( took the win and F. Barrera (0-1), the loser.

Carlos, thanks for the summaries! It's nice to see baseballguru expanding beyond Asia and MLB. Hope you keep these up all year! It's fun reading about ex-Bucs like Vicente Palacios and Ravello Manzanillo.

BTW, what happened to the Korean and Taiwanese correspondents baseballguru had last season? Oh well, it's nice seeing so many people volunteer whatever they can to provide the wonderful services here.
