THE ONE THAT GOT AWAY
The Fish thought they had this one hooked.
That’s for sure the way things looked.
But Polanco and Thome said "No!"
We will not let this one go.
And so ‘twas the Fish who got cooked.
HURRICANE JIM
Jim Thome put this one away.
It’s hard thinking up things to say,
That can tell how he thrilled all
With his 8th inning long ball.
And now only 9 games to play.
