Sinon Bulls 7 First Securities Agan 2
After the week-long mid-season break, the Sinon Bulls picked up where they left off as the first-half champions routed the First Securities Agan 7-2 last night at Kaoshung Stadium.
The Bulls offense has averaged over 6.5 runs per game and they improved to 35-15-1 with the victory. The Agan dropped to 9-38-4.
The first-place Bulls and Agan will play again tonight at Kaoshung Stadium (5:05 p.m. Taiwan time).
Brother Elephants 10 Makoto Gida 3
The red-hot Bro Elephants moved into second place in the 2003 Chinese Professional Baseball League standings with a 10-3 beating of the Makoto Gida last night at Shingcung Stadium.
With the win, the Elephants remained six games back of the Elephants and moved ahead of the China Trust Whales, who are now 6.5 games back. The Elephants are at 28-20-3 while the Gida dropped to 21-28-2.
