Hanwha Eagles 8 - SK Wyverns 7:
Lim Soo-min drew a walk with the bases loaded and two outs in the ninth inning to bring in the winning run for the Eagles.
Chae Byung-ryong gave up the base on balls to pick up the loss for the Wyvens in Taejon.
Kia Tigers 4 - Samsung Lions 3:
The Tigers won the first game of a doubleheader despite Lee Seung-yeop's two home runs for the Lions.
Jin Pil-jung received his 14th save of 2003 in the game played in Taegu.
Samsung Lions 8 - Kia Tigers 4:
Jeon Byung-ho pitched six innings giving up three runs to beat the Tigers in the second game. A three-run homer by Lee Seung-yeop was his third of the night and his 25th home run of the year.
Hyundai Unicorns 8 - Doosan Bears 7 (11 innings):
The Unicorns rallied twice to slip past the Bears in the the four-hour and fifty-minute game in Suwon.
Lotte Giants 2 - LG Twins 0:
Roberto Perez hit a solo home run in the fourth inning to beat the Twins in Chamsil.
Yeom Jong-seok pitched eight scoreless innings while striking out six LG batters and yielding three hits for the victory.
