Samsung Lions 8 - Doosan Bears 2:
Lim Chang-yong (7-0) was backed up by 14 hits while yielding only two runs and nine hits in eight innings to give the first place Lions the victory over the last place Bears in Taegu.
LG Twins 8 - SK Wyverns 2:
Lee Seung-ho struck out six batters giving up only one run, two hits, and walking three batters in 6 1/3 innings to beat the Wyverns in Chamsil.
Hyundai Unicorns 12 - Kia Tigers 10:
Shim Jong-soo drove in the ninth inning game winning runs on a three run homer to overcome a nine-run Tigers lead in Suwon. Kim Dong-soo blasted home runs in consecutive at-bats and Lee Soong-yong added a homer for Hyundai.
Unicorns pitcher Chong Min-tae gave up six runs in his first 2/3 inning but the rally kept his two-year 15 game winning streak alive.
Lotte Giants 5 - Hanwha Eagles 4:
Mario Encarnacion and Shin Myung-chul launched home runs to lift the Giants to victory despite a four run Eagles rally in the ninth inning in Pusan.
