The Twins drove in 11 runs on 13 hits to outslug the Lions in Taegu.
Kim Kwang-sam (3-0) won the game despite giving up six runs and seven hits in 5 2/3 innings.
Hyundai Unicorns 5 - Kia Tigers 3:
Kwon Joon-heon (4-0) was the winning pitcher and Cho Yong-joon (0-1, 13 saves) notched his 11 save in a row in the victory over the Tigers in Kwanju.
Lotte Giants 7 - SK Wyverns 4:
The Giants winning percentage climbed to .300 with the victory over the Wyverns in Inchon.
Cho Hyo-sang's third inning home run was one of 11 hits for Lotte.
Yang Sung-je (1-0) was the winning pitcher in relief.
Hanwha Eagles 6 - Doosan Bears 1:
Song Jin-woo (2-5) won his 162nd game giving up one run and nine hits in seven innings over the Bears.
Kim Tae-gyun's first inning home run was one of 12 Hanwha hits in the game in Seoul.
