Taiwan Baseball News: Osvaldo Martinez's 856 Strikouts and Chang Tai-shan

Sinon Bulls pitcher Osvaldo Martinez threw his 856th strikout to become the all-time CPBL strikeout leader. Former President Lions pitcher and current manager Hsieh Chang-hehn held the record at 855.
Chang "Prince of the forest" Tai-shan came within two home runs of reaching the 100 career home run mark. The Sino Bulls third-baseman only hit one home run this weekend in front of sold out crowds.
Tai-shan is the translation for "Tarzan" therefore "Prince of the forest".
