Chang-yong Lim and reliever Jang-jin Noh combined on a two-hitter as the Samsung Lions eked out a 1-0 win over the LG Twins yesterday in Chamsil. Lim picked up his league-leading fourth win while Noh notched his fourth save of the 2003 Korea Baseball Organization season.
Lions' short stop Tilson Brito had an RBI single in the winning effort as the Leos improved to 14-2-1.
Seung-ho Lee took the loss for the Twins, who dropped to 9-9-1.

Kia Tigers 11 Doosan Bears 4
Jong-kook Kim had four hits and teammate Sung-ho Jang hit a grand-slam home run as the Kia Tigers bombed the Doosan Bears 11-4 yesterday in Kwangju.
With the win, the Tigers improved to 12-5-1 while the Bears dropped to 4-15-0.

Hyundai Unicorns 10 Lotte Giants 0
Min-tea Chong pitched 7 1/3 shutout innings and Jong-soo Shim and Micah Franklin both belted homers as the Hyundai Unicorns blanked the Lotte Giants by a score of 10-0 yesterday in Pusan. Chong picked up his league-leading fourth win of the season.
The Unicorns scored eight runs in the eighth inning to put the game away and their closer Yong-joon Cho pitched 1 1/3 innings for his ninth save of the year.
With the victory, the Unicorns improved to 13-5-1 while, with the defeat, the Giants dropped to 2-16-2.

Foreigner Horacio Estrada pitched a complete game shutout as the Hanhwa Eagles beat the SK Wyverns 6-0 yesterday in Inchon.
The Eagles snapped a six-game losing streak as they improved to 7-12-1. The Wyverns fell to 10-7-1.

Luis - We are adding a whole lot of Latin baseball material in the next couple of months. You wlll start to see changes to the Latin Insider section of the site during that time.
