By Andrew Wong

Sinon Bulls 19 Makoto Gida 2

Dominican native Osvaldo Martinez pitched six scoreless innings - but he didn't have to. His team tacked on 19 runs to defeat the Makoto Gida by a whopping 19-2 score last night before 2,410 fans at Shingchu Stadium. Martinez improved to 4-1-0.

Bulls' left fielder Song-yong Luo stole the show, however, with a 4-for-4 performance to go along with two home runs. He was named the Game MVP with four RBIs and two runs scored. Almost everybody in the Bulls' lineup had a good night. Team captain Chang-yi Huang went 3-for-6 with three runs and three RBIs while third baseman Tai-shan Chang went 2-for-4 with four runs and two RBIs.

Almost everything that went right for the Bulls went wrong for the Gida. Nobody that was pitching for the Gida had an easy night. Right-hander Chi-chia Yang gave up ten runs, all earned, in five innings to pick up the loss (2-3-0).

The Gida fell to 6-13-0 while the Bulls climbed within 0.5 games of the idle President Lions as they improved to 14-5-0.
