team he played for. All data is as of the end of the 2003 season. A player's "main franchise"
is the one he had the most at bats for. Teams merged into current franchises are
considered part of that franchise. Franchise name given is current one, most recent one in
the case of defunct teams. Position listed is the one he played the most games at.
Teams whose names are italicized and underlined ceased to exist without merging
into one of the current teams.
