In a big game, Moyer was great,
got help from Dobbs who hit number eight.
Mets lead down to one,
win tonight and it’s none.
Phils chance to have a clean slate.
Sunday afternoon, September 7, 2008. Shea Stadium, New York, New York.
Philadelphia – 6, New York Mets – 2.
WP – Moyer (13-7), LP – Pedro Martinez (5-4).
HR – Dobbs (8), 4th, 2 on.

Game two:
With a chance to stand tall,
the King suffered a fall.
Carlos Delgado the main villain,
two homers, four RBI for the killin’.
Ryan Howard half that; Phils fall.
Sunday night, September 7, 2008, Shea Stadium, New York, New York.
New York Mets – 6, Philadelphia – 3.
WP – Santana (13-7), LP – Hamels (12-9).
H- Feliciano (20), Stokes (2).
HR – Delgado – 2 (33), 3rd, 5th.
