FISH BEAT MOYER
It’s not that they beat him up badly;
another Phillies’ low-hit game, sadly.
It felt like Charlie gave up on his team,
he’s done this before, makes you feel like a scream.
Fifty games left – madly or gladly?
Tuesday, August 5, 2008. Citizens Bank Park, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Florida – 8, Philadelphia – 2.
WP – Johnson (2-0), LP – Moyer (10-7).
H – Nelson (5), Rhodes (2).
HR – Victorino (11), 7th, 1 on.

Phil's are a predictable bunch...
They swing for the fence with the best...
Change-ups and slow stuff just eats up their lunch...
then back to the bench for a rest...

Charlie is helpless in a case like this...
Doesn't seem to know what to do...
In a trance or maybe fog-like bliss...
High time to try something new !!!

Like a bunt or a steal or something like that...
Anything to change the pace....
With a rub if the chin or touching the hat...
Just keep the Phils in first place...
