NATS TAKE RFK FINAL

The good news: Cole Hamels pitched well;
denied a win when Alfonseca and Kane Davis fell.
Six games to play, Phils still have a chance
to muscle their way to the dance.
Philadelphia itching to wring the bell.

Sunday, September 23, 2007. Final baseball game at RFK Stadium, Washington, D.C.
Washington – 5, Philadelphia – 3.
WP – Ayala (2-2), LP – Alfonseca (5-2).
H – Munoz (3), Rauch (31). BS – Alfonseca (5). S- Cordero (36).

Looks like Charlie did it again...
Lessened the chance for his Legions to win...
By leaving it up to 'fonseca and Geary...
The outlook for victory grew dismal and dreary...
As usual the duo got pummeled and tosed...
So try as we might .....we lost !!!
