SPORADIC YANKEES AND PHILLIES JOURNAL:

3&I/2 GAMES AHEAD IN THE WILD-CARD RACE,
YANKEES ASSUMING THEIR PROPER PLACE.
3&1/2 GAMES BEHIND BOSTON IN THE PENNANT RACE,
NEW YORK IS TIGHTENING UP THE DIMINISHING SPACE.
IN THE NL THE PHILLIES ARE MAKING IT TIGHT,
BOTH IN THE WILDCARD AND PENNANT FIGHT.
JUST A FEW GAMES TO GO IN THE SEASON,
AND AT THIS POINT THERE IS GOOD REASON,
TO FEEL OPTIMISTIC AS HELL,
THE ACTION ISN'T OVER UNTIL THE FINAL BELL

Sometimes it's really hard to win...
But we sure know how to begin...
Another big lead, but sure as sin...
Like always we almost blew it again !!!
