PHILLIES ROAR, HOPES SOAR

Eighth inning, Mets lead 10-8, bring in super closer, Billy Wags;
Pat the Bat homers again, Iguchi and Utley add tying and game-winning tags.
Phils close homestand with five straight wins,
Philadadelphia, a townful of grins.
New York Mets? Bring out the body bags.

A bunch of the boys were whooping it up in a place they call the bank...
The Mets were ahead and they brought in the Wags in the hope he could throw 6 blanks...
When into the daze and the gathering haze strolled some guys all togged in white...
With bats in their hands and fire in their eyes just looking for a fight...
And fight they did with with a devilish grin...
To the wonder of all they chalked up a win !!!
