PITTSBURGH RAINS ON PHILADELPHIA

Phils blow four-run leads two days in a row — leaves bitter taste;
three rain delays and a seven-run seventh — what a waste.
Kyle Lohse had the game well in hand,
Rollins and Branyan home runs — things looked grand.
Don’t look back team — ten-game homestand — time to make haste.

Sunday, August 19, 2007. PNC Park, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Pittsburgh – 8, Philadelphia – 4.
WP – Snell (8-10), LP – Romero (0-1).
H – Torres (5). BS – Romero (1).
HR – Rollins (22), 1sr, 0 on, 0 out; Branyan (9), 6th, 2 on, 0 out.

GWU – 13-9.

The Pirates did what Pirates do...
Thsy sacked the Phils with their motley krewe...
They shivered their timbers and buckled their swash...
and left the Phils in a lifeboat awash...
