EATON BEATEN
(ADAM BOMBED – Philadelphia Inquirer)

Phillies first chance at the Wild Card top-
Adam Eaton a complete and total flop.
Braves sprayed him with linedrives, short and long,
list too long to tell all that went wrong,
let’s just say he pitched like a wet, grimy mop.

Saturday, August 11, 2007. Citizens Bank Park, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Atlanta – 7, Philadelphia – 5.
WP – Mahay (1-0), LP – Eaton (9-8).
H – Villareal (2), Soriano (18). S- Wickman (19).
HR – Johnson (13), 3rd, 1 on, 2 out; Francouer (14), 4th, 0 on, 0 out.
Rollins (21), 3rd, 0 on, 1 out; Rowand (19), 8th, 0 on, 1 out.

GWU, 9-6.
