MOYER, BATS, FLATTEN FISH

After first pitch homer, Jamie Moyer brought Fish scoring to full stop;
Howard, Rowand, and the rest provided the pop.
Phils gearing up for final fifty,
more wins like this would be nifty,
one more small step towards the top.

Tuesday, August 7, 2007. Citizens Bank Park, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Philadelphia – 11, Florida – 1.
WP – Moyer (10-8), LP – VandenHurk (3-3).
S – Durbin (1).
HR – HaRamirez (20), 1st, 0 on, 0 out
Howard -2 (31,32), 4th, 0 on, 1 out; 6th, 0 on, 0 out; Rowand, 4th, 0 on, 1 out.

Games without Utley, 7-4.

Marlins pitching over powered...
by the big guy, Ryan Howard...
Barry the King showed he's no coward...
By launching the "ONE"...it really towered...

Meanwhile, A-Rod got a whack...
In the calf, with a nasty smack...
So The Rocket kept up the mean attack...
By drilling Rios in the back...

The last 1/3 won't be no lark...
Or keep the patrons in the dark...
Lots of smoke and plenty of spark...
It's always fun at the old ball park !!!
